Words of Wisdom from Rafiq Douglas

We asked Rafiq for some advice she would like to share with her fellow students:

"You can’t help what cards you’re dealt in life, it’s all about how to play them. You can’t put your energy towards things you can’t change or the nature of existence. Life isn’t fair and things don’t go your way. Reflect, internalize,

evaluate, and adapt. I’ was dealt a bad hand from the start and I’ve experienced the lowest parts of life imaginable on multiple occasions; it’s all about adaptation. Be flexible and be strong. You got it, just play your card".

We look forward to seeing Rafiq’s continued success and positive impact. We are proud to have him as part of our community.
