Student Spotlight: Priscilla Nornoo - A Shining Star at Towson University




Today, we shine a spotlight on Priscilla Nornoo, a dedicated and passionate student in the Marketing Intelligence Program.


Priscilla received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Data Management and Analytics with a minor in Business Analytics at Towson University. She was introduced to the Marketing Intelligence Program during an Open House event.


Currently, she holds two graduate assistant positons serving the College of Business & Economics Dean's Office and the College of Business & Economics Marketing Department. During her undergraduate study she served and participated in many organizations such as being the former Vice President of Sister Scripters, former Secretary of the Data Analytics & Visualization Group, member of Pensa@TU, member of WomenInTech, Tigers Lead Tier 1-3, etc.


She received many accolades and certifications such as Dean's List, Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum Scholarship Recipient, Jess and Mildred Fisher College of Science and Mathematics Dean's Office Discretionary Award, Microsoft Excel Certificate, Google Data Analytics Certficate, etc.


Words of Wisdom from Priscilla Nornoo

We asked Priscilla for some advice she would like to share with her fellow students:

"As a first-genertion African American one piece of advice I can offer someone is this: You deserve to be here. You navigated through countless obstacles and overcame adversaries, so stand firm in the position you're in".
