1. Tell us about your time in the Marketing Intelligence Program at Towson University. What motivated you to pursue this field of study?
I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Towson University's Marketing Intelligence Program. The collaborative learning environment with my fellow classmates enhanced my educational experience. My motivation to enter this field stemmed from a desire to merge marketing principles with technical proficiency, positioning myself as a valuable asset in the job market.

The program equipped me with both technical and soft skills crucial to success
in marketing intelligence.
3. Share a memorable experience or project from your time at Towson that significantly
impacted your professional development.
A standout experience was my participation in the Google Nonprofit Immersion
Program during MKTG 781. This program was demanding, however, it provided real-world experience and skills essential for my professional marketing endeavors.
4. What skills and knowledge gained during the program have proven most valuable in your current role?
The skills I gained in deriving insights from data and presenting those insights have proven invaluable in my current role.
5. Tell us about your career journey post-graduation. How did you land your first job in marketing intelligence?
Upon graduation, I secured an internship through LinkedIn. I also leveraged the platform to land a full-time position. My post-graduate transition was marked by a smooth integration into my professional career.
6. Describe a project or achievement in your career that you are particularly proud of.
A particularly proud moment in my career journey is securing a full-time role and
establishing a strong foundation for steering my professional trajectory in any
desired direction.
7. What advice do you have for current students aspiring to pursue a career in marketing
intelligence?
For current students aspiring to enter the field of marketing intelligence, I
recommend completing a marketing internship or program each semester. This approach allows for practically applying what you learn in the classroom. Gaining experience also is crucial for securing a full-time position.
8. Do you find specific courses or experiences from the program particularly relevant to your current role?
Reflecting on the program, all the courses and experiences proved relevant to my current role. While my position leans more towards marketing strategy than statistical programming, the comprehensive nature of the program prepared me for the multifaceted demands of the marketing intelligence field.
