What is unique about the Marketing Intelligence Master's program at Towson University?

Is the MS in Marketing Intelligence program a STEM program?

Yes. The marketing intelligence master's program received STEM designation from the Department of Homeland Security in 2017. This allows graduates of the program with F-1 visas to remain in the United States for an additional 24 months under the optional practical training STEM extension. Learn more.

What are the degree requirements? How many credits are needed to complete the program?

The master's degree requires a total of 30 units with courses in marketing, computer science, and project management. Learn more.

Do I need to apply for an Interactive Marketing Certificate separately?

No. The Interactive Marketing Certificate program is embedded in the Marketing Intelligence Master’s program. After you complete the master's required courses, you will automatically earn the certificate. If you don’t plan to enter the Master's program, you must apply for the certificate separately.

Could you provide information on available tuition waivers or scholarships applicable for international graduate students?

Assistantships are competitive and available to admitted students ONLY. The Marketing department offers two 10-hour graduate assistantships each year. It covers tuition up to 6 credits per semester (Spring and Fall semester only) plus the monthly stipend. Learn more.

 

There are more assistantship opportunities on campus for admitted students. You need to apply through TU Handshake.

What is the enrollment in the Marketing Intelligence program?

We have 45-50 students currently in the program. 25-30 are admitted each Fall semester.

What is the tuition fee for domestic and international graduate students and the estimated overall tuition cost for the entire program?

The tuition and fees per unit/credit is $669 for Maryland Resident and $1,210 for out-of-state students. For international students, please refer to the ISSO site.

What is the duration of the MS in Marketing Intelligence program?

Whether you're a working professional or a full-time student, the master's program can work for you with the flexibility to complete the degree in one year or two years.  Learn more about course plans.

Are there in-campus job opportunities available for international graduate students within the university?

What is the deadline for applications for Fall 2024?

Admission to Marketing Intelligence (M.S.) is for Fall Term only:

  • Early Deadline:      Jan 15

  • Priority Deadline:  Jun 15

  • Final Deadline:      Aug 15
